Allison Johnson
I run the retail store mainly but I also help out in the line sewing when needed. I have also worked part time in the cutting department turning shirts and cutting out scarfs. I love the fashions and hope to build the retail store up next year. I have a daughter and she is my pride and joy.
Angie Taylor
My name is Angela Taylor and I am the newest employee at Moultons Earth Creations plant. I have been here since March 2013 and I love my job. Karen and Carol trained me to be a quality inspector and packer. I appreciate them both for all of their insights. Everyone here is like family.
Carol Burns
I started working with EC in 2003 in Bessemer as a part-time employee training in packing and quality control. In 2004, I transferred to the new Moulton plant as line supervisor and trainer where I currently still hold that position. Some of my main job responsibilities are making original and sales samples, keeping the line balanced and quality. I love the work we do as it is always changing and challenging.
Debbie Blankenship
I came to work for Earth Creations in 2004 right after the plant opened. I enjoy all of the people that work here and look forward to a long relationship with them. I have two children and one grandson and he is my pride and joy.
Delores Terry
I am an inspector with Earth Creations, worked with this plant for 8 years. I also work on an overlock machine making small parts when needed. I have worked in quality control, floor girl, machine operator at other plants before coming here. I enjoy working with Karen and Carol as my bosses.
Diane Peacock
I am Diane Peacock. I have been an employee of Earth Creations for the past 9 years. I make a lot of complicated designs and enjoy doing so. I have been int he sewing industry since 1974.
Dorothy Horton
I was born in 1934 to a mule and plow farmer in Tennessee. I married in the 1950's and moved to Alabama. We have 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. I've been sewing in factories for 41 years and am blessed to be with Karen at Earth Creations for the past 8 years as an overlock operator. I look forward to many more years here.
Harold Ashby
Came to work with EC Moulton in the cutting department spreading fabric, marking cut work, inventory control of the fabric. I like working at the plant, I enjoy my job, all of the people are friendly and easy to work with. I've learned a lot from Karen and Kim and look forward to learning much more. I hope to have a long working relationship with EC.
Karen Cowan
Joy and Martin hired me in 2001 as a sourcing manager at the Bessemer corporate offices. I have worked in the industry for 37 years. In 2004 Joy and Martin decided to open our own production facility near my home in Moulton. I had previously owned a production plant in this area and know a lot of experienced people in the industry. We have been blessed to have several of my former trained employees come to work for us here at the plant. My main job duties here are managing the factory, lining up cutting and sewing production, keeping the line balanced for maximum output. I have been married for 47 years years, have two children and two grandchildren.
Kim Hensley
I have worked with Earth Creations since 2002 in product development, quality control, production and sales. I love the sustainable message our company promotes. Most recently I have helped Joy with new products and patterns. I am married and have two beautiful daughters. We live on the family farm where we raise timber. I hope to work with EC for many years to come.
Paula Terry
I am a grandmother with a great respect for my family. Sophia, my granddaughter, is my pride and joy. I have worked at the Moulton EC plant for 5 years and I run the main hemmer. I enjoy my work very much and hope to continue for a long time.
Rebecca Jackson
My nickname is Becca. I have worked for Karen for many years before I came to EC. She and Kim are like family to me. I work in the cutting department with Harold on the spreader spotting for any bad fabric problems. I work bundling and doing tickets for the line. I am also an overlock, plain needle and button machine operation. I love my job here at EC and all my fellow employees. They are all like one big family to me. I have been here a year and I am still learning new things everyday. I love our clothing line that we make.
Shalah Terry
I came to work for EC when they opened up. Unfortunately I had to be off a couple of years. I am so proud Karen let me come back to work part time. I look forward to many more years of working with EC. I am married and have three grandchildren.
Shelia Campbell
My main job at Earth Creations is to run the merrow hemmer. I also run a plain needle machine and overlock when needed. I have been in the sewing industry about 20 years and like my work very much. Everyone here at the plant is friendly and we are one big family. Family is very important to me. We have a new great niece that we spend a lot of time with.
Theresa McGee
I've been with Earth Creations 2-1/2 years. I sew on plain needle and coverstitch machines. I worked for Karen 10 years at her plant. I have been sewing and floor girl about 20 years total.
Toni White
I am 64 years young and have worked in sewing factories for 18 years. I have been with EC since they opened in 2004. I also worked with Karen at Cowan Sportswear. I live in Moulton with my dog, Gizmo. I have one daughter and two granddaughters. I also have a great grandson and a great granddaughter.
